Hello, 

Last minute hike to Notkarspitze, from Ettal to Farchant.

This is not a beginner-friendly hike. Some parts can be quite challenging in snow, there are no huts on the way and the weather won't be really nice (cloudy, light snow possible and temperature approx. -3^oC).

We will take the RB6 starting 07:32 from HBF platform 27, and then bus 9606 to Ettal.

For the return, I aim to catch the 15:11 train from Farchant, alternative 16:09.

Pace: 350-400hm/hour depending on the snow condition.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots and proper clothing
• Headlamp
• Spikes/crampons and gaiters (highly recommended)
• Hiking poles (recommended)
• Enough food and water for the entire day (there are no huts on the way!)
• DAV insurance (highly recommended)
