Since high up there's still lots of snow, let's do one of the lower altitude T4 hikes.

This hike promises to be a nice climb (grade I), a pass through a natural tunnel (Herrenloch) and then a well-deserved view on Balmfluechöpfli.

This is a difficult alpine hike, with steep parts, climbing and exposed, please only join if you understand the difficulty and have done similar before.

What to bring: all the regular items for hiking, a helmet in case of falling stones and maybe gloves to help with the technical climbing parts.

Meeting in Zürich: 7:30 train to Solothurn (first 2nd class coach in direction of travel)
To: Rüttenen, Endhalt, start hike at 9:04

Distance: to be decided, at minimum 7km, but depending on how fast we get up there we can decide how much more hiking we'll do.
Height gain: ~1000m

Back in Zürich, around 4-5pm
