Description
Weather looks relatively okay for Saturday, hopefully no rain but also not that much sun.
Still, I propose a nice hike to Teufelstättkopf, starting from Unterammergau and ending up at Oberammergau
Plan is to take the train at 7:32, changing at Murnau and starting the hike in Unterammergau a bit after 9
Not for absolute beginners because of the total distance but we will hike at a moderate pace.
I plan to take a break and eat something at the Kolbensattelhütte but bring some food or snacks because that is more towards the end of the hike
Good to know
We meet at platform 27 at Munich Hauptbahnhof to take the train at 7:32 to Garmisch till Murnau
Please be on time so we enough time to meet and board the train.
Please bring
- hiking boots
- proper hiking clothing (not accepting anybody with Jeans and / or Sneakers)
- Rain protection (hopefully not needed)
- food & snacks (We can eat something at a hut, but towards the end of the hike)
- Water (I would recommend at least 2 Liters)
- head lamp (should not be needed but just in case)
- some cash
- good mood
- sunglasses & sun cream
- charged phone (my number is 0177/9768273)
- DAV or similar insurance highly recommended
- Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.

I only noticed now that there is another group taking the same train and doing partly the same route, I guess it was put in before but was not purposely copied by me. We will see how much we mingle but put this in mind for the meeting at the track
