This hike is NOT intended for beginners. Please make sure if you join that you do understand the meaning of these numbers.

Logistics
The hike starts at Beatenbucht bus stop at 10.30AM, we are going to hike for ~7 hours up to Niederhorn and then come back to Beatusholen bus stop around 19.

Alternatively we can also change the timing to 7AM at Beatenbucht and to Beatusholen at around 14 to avoid the rain, it's up for discussion.

Weather
Weather is not on our side unfortunately. Rain is forecasted on Niederhorn from 15 till midnight. Bring your rain gear and, as said previously, it is also possible to anticipate the starting time to 7AM.

As there has been some heavy snowing the past weeks, I am unsure on what the conditions of the top part of the trail might be (they look good on MeteoSwiss). It should be fine, but I might radically change the track if on-site conditions do not look safe.

Please note that I am not a guide and have never done this trail before, so prepare accordingly (GPX file, water, food, sunscreen, headlamp, sunglasses, rain gear, warm clothes, etc). 

Be aware I may take the decision to divert from the suggested circuit if necessary, especially in winter.
