There is forecast for light rain in the afternoon. Please bring a rain jacket.

This is an easy hike and suitable for beginners.

Public transport: We will take BOB86859 departing at 9:04 am, which will arrive Bayrischzell at 10:25 am. This is the start point of our hike. The hike ends at Geitau, from where we will take Bob to come back to Munich

Departure time of return connection: 16:38 (1h16m), 17:38 (1h16m), 18:38 (1h16m)

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T2. There are some short steep sections, but not technically difficult. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for sac scale T2.

We may have lunch at Neuhuette, if it is open. However, this is not super certain, so please bring enough food and drinks for the whole day.

Things to bring:

• Waterproof hiking boots
• Cash for the ticket (10 - 12 EUR) and (possibly) for the food at the hut
• Food/drinks for the way
• Sunscreen
• Some tolerance for cloudy and rainy weather

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
