Join me and the puppy for an epic hike on some lesser-known but stunning trails up the Erstfeldertal towards Fulensee. The high route back out of the valley has stunning views and almost all the snow is gone (some small traverses of avalanche remains). We then head back around the shoulder of Hoch Geissberg, traversing over the stunning Bockitobel gorge. After linking up with the Via Alpina we cruise back down into Altdorf.

Due to the length and vertical, this is an advanced hike, so the pace will be decent (500m vert / hour minimum). There will be some snow traversals and adventurous exposure. There is the possibility of shortening the loop up the valley. On the way back, heading back to Erstfeld instead of Altdorf will take out some vert. Or take the cable car down from Brüsti to Attinghausen.

I ran most of this loop last weekend, the blue / white high route back looked ok, but may require some last minute route changes to stay lower.

If anyone is coming from further, there is a possibility of staying at my place Friday night. (Already have 2 bikepackers staying that night, so will be a full house :D). The hike ends at Altdorf train station.
