Gear:
normal trailrunning gear (no technical parts and many huts on the way)
0,5-1L water depending on your habits
Some gels or bars for the way
Safety blanket and headlamp as safety gear, I will have a first aid kit
phone/gps with map or track
Pace:
not a competion but fitness is required 500-700 d+/hour depending on the group
jogging/fast walking downhills and flats again depending on group
the tour should take between 8-10 hours depending on how many cappuccino stops we make :D
Transport:
I will be taking my car and have space for 4 more persons
we would need one more car depending on how many people join.
If you want to take public transport we will be leaving the spitzingsattel around 7:45-8:00
Disclaimers and notes: you all know the drill Im not a pro so all at your own risk etc...
Some work colleagues of mine might also be coming so we may be more than 10 and 10 people trail running rarely have the same pace during the whole day so it will be either patience and waiting for each other at the huts or splitting off. The route has a lot of easy exits so if ever you want to cut off or pull ahead that is fine but please let the group know (safety, carpool, etc...). Beginners are more than welcome but please be realistic about your fitness level its a long day out even if we dont go fast :D.
