Disclaimer: Hiking is potentially dangerous. Understand and accept the risks involved before participating. I am not a mountain guide and this is not a guided tour .You are responsible for your actions and decisions. It is highly recommended to have a mountain rescue insurance

Good to know

I) hiking shoes

Ii) Hiking poles (not mandatory, but it always better to have them), head lamp

iIi) Enough water for the whole day.

iv) Snacks and or food

v) Proper clothes for hiking

VI) A good mood

Going to the mountains, like any other adventure tours, is always risky; sometimes it might be life-threatening! Attendees are advised to read the full description, look into the route details and familiarise themselves to the point that as if they are going to hike by their own.

If there is any unwanted and unfortunate incident happened, they are at this moment informed that they have to pay by themselves if the rescue team needs to be called (average cost 3,000 Euro). We are certainly not official guides, so it is not a guided tour. The organizer is only responsible for taking care of the meeting and sharing the travel cost, nothing else. If you sign up for a hike that you don't have the capability for don't expect anyone to babysit you, no one is your mummy.

Just to clarify, it's marked as a T5 because of the scrambling section from Heldenkreuz to Osterfeurkopf, which goes up to UIAA grade I climbing. But there is alternative path-- and we will not do the scrambling if it is wet or visibility is poor. Also, I am changing the route so we do a traverse from Eschenlohe to Ohlstadt

I would say u der dry conditions the scrambling part os quite easy, more t4 than t5, but when it's wet it's a different story
