Not beginner friendly, relatively fast paced hike.

Buchstein requires scrambling up to grade I (and is totally skippable.)

Expected pace - ~400-500hm/hour ascend, 800+hm/hour or ~4-6 km/h descend.

I need to catch the 16:17 train latest so it's a fast paced hike! Maybe short stop at the hut depending on time

Departure: RB57 to Tegernsee at 7:29

+ bus 390 to bayerwald kreuth at 8:45

Returns: every 30 minutes from Lenggries (xx:17/ xx:47). Between 15:17-16:17

Bring:

1) food and drinks
2) Proper Hiking boots
3) Hiking/Trekking Poles
4) readiness to scramble
5) DE ticket

I did the route from wildbad kreuth,over leonhardstein. There is no direct way between leonhardstein and buchstein.. so one must cone down again.
