Description
Scrambling, Views, Dinner & Games at the Hut! 🥾
This is a two-days hike with a stay at Reichenhaller Haus with a carpool. (If you don't want to use the carpool option, please, plan your journey privately and meet us at Bad Reichenhall Train station at 09:30 AM).
Here’s the twist: during the hike, there’ll be a 10-question quiz all about this tour and the mountains around us! Whoever gets the most right answers wins a free shot at the hut! 🏆
I have booked 5 beds in a dormitory. The full price is 14€ - DAV members, 26€ - not DAV members. According to the Reichenhaller Haus rules, if you cancel the reservation less than 3 days before or don't show up, they still charge €15 per person. So I would kindly ask you to transfer me 15€ before by June 11 at the latest as an insurance (I will create a WhatsApp group for that). You’ll get it back from me once we reach the hut and you'll pay yourself directly at the hut reception.
No cards are accepted in the hut, please bring only cash! (Half-pension dinner w/o drinks + breakfast - 27€, or breakfast - 10€)
Please have your Deutschland-Ticket and the route downloaded. Hiking boots are mandatory.
Please bring enough water and snacks. There is also a Zwieselalm hut along the way, so we will stop for a lunch-break there.
The hike will take place even if it’s going to rain. So please, dress and pack your stuff accordingly (rain jacket, spare clothes, etc).
The speed will be adjusted to the slowest speed of participants.
IMPORTANT: Please announce 12 hours before the hike if you are not able to attend. If you do not come on the hike, you will get a NO SHOW review. Thanks for understanding!

Day 1:
08:00 Meeting at Böhmerwaldplatz U-Bahn Station, carpool to Bad Reichenhall
09:30 Start hiking
Around 18:30: Dinner at Reichenhaller Haus
Day 2:
08:00 Start Hiking
12:30 End of the hike, carpool back

Hey everyone! I just sent you the WhatsApp group link per email. In case you are on the list but did not receive the link, please, let me know! Also important consideration for everyone: the hike is assessed as T3. It is nevertheless not suitable for beginners, as it will involve lots of scrambling and at times it will be exposed. So please unjoin the hike if you are scared of heights.

For the people on the waiting list: there are 4 places available in the hut. Feel free to reserve them online and join the hike if you still want to join (you can join with your own car, or arrange the trip with the public transport) 😉 Text me if you did and I will increase the number of participants!
