Description

A classic route that I've been meaning to do for a while!

Please note - this is a demanding T5 hike with the last several hundred meters being somewhat technical (grade 1-2 climbing), only experienced hikers should join. Advised to bring a helmet. Pace will be moderate to fast.

There is currently a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, but if the weather stays stable, we will stop at Coburger Hütte on the way down.

Good to know

We will take the train from Hbf at 07:32 and should arrive in Ehrwald, where the hike starts, at 09:48. Hopefully catching either the 18:30 or 19:30 train back to Munich.
