Join us for a scenic and physically rewarding hike in the majestic Untersberg region! This route takes us from Maria Gern up the beautiful Stöhrweg, leading to the summit of Berchtesgadener Hochthron (1,972 m) and a well-earned lunch break at Stöhrhaus. We'll descend via Scheibenkaser, completing a fantastic alpine loop.

🍽️ Lunch at Stöhrhaus – ~2:00 PM
After summiting the Berchtesgadener Hochthron, we'll take a long break at Stöhrhaus with hearty food and great mountain views.

⏱️ Return to Cars – Late afternoon (~6:00 PM)

🧳 What to Bring:

• At least 2 liters of water – it’ll be warm (28°C)

• Rain jacket – it’ll be cloudy with a chance of rain!

• Snacks – optional, but recommended due to the long distance.

• Hiking shoes – a must!

• Hiking poles – helpful, especially for descent.

• Cash – huts may not accept card payments.

• Good energy & team spirit!

⚠️ Difficulty Level:

This is a physically demanding hike (~18 km, 1,300 m elevation gain). Technically it’s mostly moderate, with a few T3 sections. Please only join if you are in good physical shape.
