Description

I like this route so much so I plan to do the Schachen route again this year. The route is fairly easy but considering the length, it is not suitable for beginner. 

The hut is open so we can eat there. If we arrive at the right time, we can visit the Schachenhaus : https://www.schloesser.bayern.de/deutsch/schloss/objekte/schachen.htm

We will leave from Esso Station at the Westendstrasse Station. If traffic permits, we should arrive at the starting point (Wandernparkplatz Elmau) shortly before 09:00. If you have a car and wish to join, feel free to meet us there.

We will hike in moderate pace (350m-400m up / hour). We will start and finish as a group. I will expect to come back to Munich before 19:00 given the length of the hike. (If there is thunderstorm approaching according to weather forecast, I will change the date of the hike)

I don't have specific rules for my car but it will be nice if you can keep the car tidy.
