Whoever hasn't yet been to the Eng Valley / Ahornboden is missing out on one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the Alps—if not in the entire world. It’s a truly magical place.
Join us for a hike from the Eng Valley to the Inn Valley via the Lamsenjochhütte. We'll take a train to Lenggries, followed by a bus into the Eng Valley. That’s where our hike begins.
We'll make our way to the well-known Lamsenjochhütte and take a break there. From there, we continue our descent into the Inn Valley. Depending on the group’s mood (so bring good vibes!), we’ll wrap up the day with dinner or drinks at a nice bar or restaurant—perhaps Die Galerie.
After that, we’ll catch a train from Kufstein back to Munich.
It’ll be a long and fun day—just as a sunny summer weekend deserves.
Beginners are welcome—as long as you have done previously hikes of similar length and are confident you can manage the 18 km hike at a reasonable pace.
Please be on time, and if you press the “Join” button, don’t press “Unjoin”—just show up!
Kindly remember to pack the following essentials:
If you don't know the T-Scale, read this blog (click here).

Additionally, please be advised that I am not a mountain guide and hiking can be risky.
