Description

Hi everyone,

Let's do an easy short hike on Sunday to the Freibergsee near Oberstdorf. Weather forecast says it will rain after 21 so it should be ok for this short hike.


Meeting Time: 09.00
Meeting Point: Platform 30

Train leaves at 09.20 to Oberstdorf. We will board the train 10-15 min earlier to get seats.
Arrival in Oberstdorf at 11.50.

We will have a relaxed pace since I am bringing a friend who is a beginner and I have another bigger hike on Saturday.

Return is possibly with 16.25 train that arrives at 18.42 in Munich. Direct trains are every 2 hours. There are also non-direct ones but with short transfer times.


What to bring:

* Deutschlandticket or your own ticket
* At least 2L of water
* Food
* Hiking shoes
* Sun protection
* Rain jacket (just in case it rains)

small weather update: definitely bring rain protection and we really should make it to 16.40 train back. it will be cloudy whole day and there might be light rains during the day and thunderstorms will start around 18. if you need to unjoin, do it soon (you can’t do it if it’s less than 12 hours left)
