Spectacular two-day hike to the Baltschiederklause hut

Please be aware that the hike is 12km and 1580m elevation on Saturday. Sunday we hike the same trail down.

This weekend we hike a spectacular trail to the Baltschiederklause Hut in Valais. It's one of the most beautiful and varied hike. First we hike along the bisses (suonen), wonderful forests, flower-rich alpine meadows, and, at the top, a wild mountain landscape with glacier foreland and rugged peaks.

The first exposed section along the suonen (google "suonen niwärch")  can be alternativelyrnt hiked through a 2km tunnel. I'm taking this option🙈😊.

We meet in Visp (2h from Zürich by train). From there we drive 20min by car to the starting point.

I've already reserved 5 beds. Please let me know by Thursday noon if you're coming. I'll then cancel the remaining beds.

I've also advertised the activity elsewhere, so even if there are still spots available on Hiking Buddies, the event may still be fully booked.
