Please only join if you are comfortable going down on the Ferrata, I plan to go till Vollkarspitze. This is not suitable for first timers or beginners.

Journey on Sa. 28.06.2025
• from München Hbf Gl.27-36, departure at 07:32 Pl. 27 with RB 59401
• to Hammersbach Zugspitzbahn, Grainau, arrival at 09:27 with BZB 1002

Things to bring:

  • proper hiking shoes;
  • helmet;
  • via ferrata gear;
  • gloves;
  • food and water for the day (but we can also stop at the hut);
  • layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast;
  • GPX viewer with the route information;
  • Deutschland ticket.

Please bring some cash for the cable car up! Can find the exact price! It says 23 for descent and 37€ both ways.
