Hike + Via Ferrata to Balmeten and back with a T3 hiking trail.
Difficulty: Via ferrata grade (K4), approach hike grade (T3+/T4-). If you don't know what the grades mean: https://www.sac-cas.ch/en/ausbildung-und-sicherheit/tourenplanung/grading-systems/
Expected hiking pace: 450m elevation gain / h, via ferrata section will take longer.

- I am not a guide and I haven't done this route before.
- This is a (non-beginner) via ferrata route, make sure you have the equipment and know how to use it.
- Take enough snacks / water for the long day in the sun.
- Please do your research on the route and difficulty.

From Zurich HB 9:05am train
Arrival at Schattdorf (Talstation Haldi) at 10:35am.
Cable car to Haldi at 10:40am (runs every half an hour).
