(This is not T5. It's mostly T3 with a bit of T4... but in any case, it is not suitable for beginners.)
If you need to know more about the SAC's "T" scale for hiking routes, see: https://www.sac-cas.ch/fileadmin/Ausbildung_und_Wissen/Sicher_unterwegs/Sicher_unterwegs_Wandern/2020_Berg_Alpinwanderskala_EN.pdf
This is a scenic and varied ridge walk with (if the weather is nice) spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.
First we let the Stanserhorn Cabrio-bahn lift us 1400 meters to the top of the Stanserhorn (18.50 CHF with Halbtax, and possibly cheaper when purchased as part of SBB ticket. Free with GA or SBB Tageskarte. Advance reservations possible at stanserhorn.ch). Then the hike starts by descending almost 500 meters to Ächerli before joining the ridge that will take us all the way to Storeggpass. Some exposed parts around the Schluchberg are secured with fixed ropes.
We will aim for a moderate pace of roughly 350-400 m per hour uphill. It's a gorgeous landscape so we should take a bit of time to enjoy it ;-).
From Storeggpass we descend to Eggen, where we take the "Buiräbähnli" of the Töngi family (https://www.engelberg.ch/en/cable-cars/buiraebaehnli-cable-ways/mettlen-rugisbalm/) down to Mettlen via Rugisbalm (9 CHF, cash only, saves 800 meters of downhill hiking). We then walk about 2km down the valley to catch the SBB at Grafenort (hourly departures toward Luzern at xx:17).
From Zurich HB, the connection you want is IR 75 at 07:35 from track 11, connecting in Luzern to the IR toward Engelberg at 08:36 from track 13, then walk to the Stanserhorn Talstation for the 09:00 departure, arriving Stanserhorn 09:24.
Bring rain gear (you never know...), sunscreen, and enough food and water for your needs. Consider hiking poles, too, particularly for the downhill parts.
