🚵‍♂️🏔️ Bike & Hike: Mittenwald – Karwendelhaus – Eastern Karwendelspitze (2,537 m)

🗺️ Overview

A spectacular bike & hike tour starting from Mittenwald, leading through the beautiful Karwendel valley and up to the panoramic summit of the Eastern Karwendelspitze.

🚴‍♂️ Bike Segment: Mittenwald → Karwendelhaus

  • Distance: ~40 km round trip

  • Elevation gain (bike): approx. 1100 m

  • Ride through the stunning Karwendeltal, past rivers, forests, and dramatic mountain scenery on a good gravel road.

  • 👉 Bike rental available in Mittenwald at BikerBahnhof – ideal if you don’t have your own bike.

🥾 Hike Segment: Karwendelhaus → Eastern Karwendelspitze

  • Distance: ~4.5 km one-way

  • Elevation gain: approx. 760 m

  • Demanding alpine trail with a short, easy climbing section (UIAA I) near the summit.

  • Total elevation gain (bike + hike): approx. 1800 m
