Description
This is 2 days hiking event !!! (with an optional ferrata), with overnight sleeping at Nördlingerhütte. If you want to join for both days, you need to book one night at the hut yourself!!!
Not suitable for beginners.
Good to know
Bring regular solid hiking gear, including ferrata set, layered clothing, rain protection, headlamp, first aid kit, ability to self-navigate (e.g. phone with the gpx offline, enough battery, ideally powerbank).
Day 1:
Munich to Mittenwald RB6 train leaving 7:32am (I join at Murnau), then taking a bus further to Scharnitz. We would start the hike from Scharnitz over the nice mountain ridge to the Nördlingerhütte.
Day 2
Starting from the hut over another ridge eastward, in good weather doing Zirler ferrata, turning south and finishing in Zirl for the bus back to Mittenwald and the next train direction Munich.
