Three-day hike from Friday to Sunday (August 1st-3rd). I have reserved the last eight beds for friday and six for saturday. If you'd like, you can also join us for Friday to Saturday. Those who want to hike for three days have priority.
Those who register now must check for themselves whether there are still beds available in the hut. The registration deadline in this event has passed and I have canceled the remaining beds.
You can register for the hike from Saturday to Sunday here:

Friday hike: 9km and 1650m elevation gain.
Start: 10:30 in Giumaglio
Hut: Alpe Spluga
https://www.alpespluga.ch/
Saturday hike:
Hike the same route down into the valley and back up the other side to Capanna Canaa.
17.5 km, 1500m downhill and 1500m uphill.
A certain level of fitness is required for this hike.
Daily schedule:
9:00 start (in the next 2h we hike 7km and 1500m downhill)
11:00 we're in the valley. Short break of 15 minutes. After this short break we hike in 1h45min 5.5 km and 450 m elevation gain.
13:00-14:00 Lunch break
16:30 After the break, we have a good 1000 meters of elevation gain to climb over a 5 km until we reach the hut Capanna Canaa
I'm not a big fan of schedules but on a intense long hike it makes sense so you have an little overview.
If someone wants to hike a bit slower, they can, of course. Please download the GPS file so you can navigate to the hut yourself.
You'll need to bring food and drinks for the hikes on friday, saturday and sunday. The huts aren't normally guarded, but apparently there's a warden on duty this weekend. So, according to the website, you can get dinner and breakfast there.
