Hi everyone,

This is a hiking and via ferrata event (difficulty level up to C), requiring surefootedness and a head for heights. The trail is long, demanding and exposed in some areas, making it unsuitable for beginners.

• We’ll hike together, as one group, with a moderate pace of 350-400m of ascent per hour. Please do not join if you are significantly slower or faster. 
• The only hut on the way is Kehlsteinhaus, but we won’t stop there as it’s at the beginning of the hike, so bring enough food and water!
• In case of bad weather forecast, I reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event. If the weather turns bad during the hike, we’ll go back or change the route.
• If we haven't hiked together before, please contact me before joining.
• The link to the WhatsApp group will be posted in the comments section the day before the hike. Please join the group to get the latest updates.

Things to bring:

• Via ferrata set, helmet and gloves
• Waterproof hiking boots/approach shoes
• Layered clothing according to the latest weather forecast
• Hiking poles
• Headlamp
• Cash for the hut
• Food and water for the whole day
• DAV insurance or similar
• Passport/ID (we cross the border to Austria)
• A good mood 😊

Note: Please unjoin well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event less than 12 hours before its start.
