Standing at almost 3000 m with an amazing view of Eiger, Monch und Jungfrau. Schilthorn is the place to be on a sunny saturday :) Even James Bond loved this place! Additionally we are gonna do the Birg Thrill Walk. We start around 9:15 from Gimmelwald (not Grindelwald) after taking the Schilthornbahn from Stechelberg at 9:06. 

Possibility by car or SBB:

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty between T3 and T4. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for SAC scale T3 and T4. I expect you are fit and have already done 1500m+ height difference, 20km long hikes before and can keep up a moderate pace of atleast 500 m elevation per hour.

What to bring:

Waterproof hiking boots, gloves, hat

Food/drinks for the way

Warm clothes

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
