Hi everyone,

Let's use the extra holiday to do a nice hike in Allgäu and swim in a beautiful lake in between mountains. I had to post it spontaneously (and choose the late train) because of the unstable weather forecast before.

Meeting Point: Platform 30

Train leaves at 09.20 to Lindau-Reutin. We will board the train 15-20 min earlier to get seats.
Arrival in Immenstadt at 10.55.

There are several huts on the way. We can go for example to Kemptener Naturfreundehaus which is not the first but is near to the middle of the hike (after most of the ascent).

We can also swim in the lake. Water temp is around 23 degrees so it is warm enough.

We can return with 19.01 train. Direct trains are every 2 hours but 16.59 train would be too stressful and we won't have time for lake.

What to bring:

* Deutschlandticket or your own ticket
* At least 2L of water
* Food
* Hiking shoes
* Sun protection
* Swimwear (optional)
