Recently many buddies asked me to organize something technically easier so here I am with a classical long beautiful and technically not demanding tour in beautiful Allgäu! 

You must be fit and ready for a long hike about 24 km (1000 m altitude gain). Estimated time 8-9 hours.

We will start out hike going up along the Dietersbach valley. This valley is also called the Gerstrubertal because the famous settlement Gerstruben is located here. http://www.gerstruben.de/ 

This settlement has one of the oldest houses in Oberstdorf; about 400–500 years old. We go higher until we reach the highest point of the hike Alpelesattel (1780 m) where we have a great view of Hofats,  the so called "Queen of the Alps".

Then we hike down until we reach magical Oytal valley. From here we continue on a wide path through the wildly roaring Stuibenfall, the Prinzenkreuz and the lower Guten-Alpe to the Oytalhaus. The steep rock faces of the Oytal but also the picturesque mountain meadows like Schneck and Hofats are impressive. Having left the Oytalhaus behind us, the path under the shadow of the winding avenues slowly descends to the Kühberg where the last small descent at the end of our tour awaits.
