Description
Sunday's weather is perfect to hike in the Karwendel.
We will meet at München Hbf at 7.15AM to take the train RB6 to Mittenwald at 7:32AM, followed by a bus to Scharnitz arriving at 09:46AM.
We will do the following peaks with beautiful views:
- Brunnsteinkopf (1924 m)
- Brunnsteinspitze (2180 m)
- Rotwandlspitze (2192 m)
It is a T4. Sure footed hikers are required.
Please take food and water for the all day. We will lunch at the top.We can stop at the Brunnsteinhütte on the way down in the afternoon for a drink.
Please take some cash for the bus to Scharnitz, and drinks at the hutte.
We will return to Munich from Mittenwald.
This hike is not a race (350MPH) and we will keep the group together, but please only join if you are in good shape and sure footed.
