Description

This hike is really T4, when taking a slightly different path to Mandlspitze, and the peak is optional depending on time and conditions.

The plan is to hike quite fast, and run many of the easy flat and downhill parts, to make sure we reach the train back to Munich.

We are taking the 6:32 train to Garmisch. There we change to the train to Innsbruck, where we arrive at 9:23, to start the hike.

The plan is to take the 19:28 or 20:16 train from Scharnitz to get back to Munich. There is one later train at 21:28 from Scharnitz, and if we miss that one we would have to run ca. 6km extra to Mittenwald to reach the 22:36 train there.

If we have the time, we can take an extended break at Pfeishuette or at Moeslalm.
