Glaciers, glaciers everywhere. 

Saas-Almagell through Allalinglacier to Brittaniahutte, one of the most popular huts of the Swiss Alps, to Klein Allalin, standing at 3070 m. We start at 9:40 from the ski village Saas-Almagell.

This is a safe hike through a glacier without any additional equipment and no mountain guides. Although those who are afraid of glaciers and are not experienced hiking buddies should not come. If you decide to come and then are afraid, you go back alone. I'm not responable for you.

Possibility by car or SBB:

For the way back, the last connection from Saas-Fee Busterminal goes at 21:30, so we don't have to stress about cathing the last bus.

Technical difficulty: The hike has difficulty T4. Please read the blog to understand the requirements for SAC scale T4. I expect you are fit and have already done 1500m+ height difference, 20km long hikes before and can keep up a moderate pace of atleast 500 m elevation per hour.

What to bring:

Waterproof hiking boots, gloves, hat

Food/drinks for the way

Warm clothes

Note: Please unjoin the event well in advance, if you don't plan to come. You cannot unjoin the event, when it is starting in less than 12 hours.
