Description
Round trip to the Chly Lobhorn
The hike to Chly Lobhorn leads past the idyllic Sulsseewli mountain lake and over a spectacular ridge and narrow paths to the summit of the small Lobhorn. A great place to watch climbers on the vertical walls of the large Lobhorns. The way back the route passes below the large Lobhorns towards the mountain lake and an optional visit at the Lobhorn hut.
The northwest ridge path is poorly marked and can be pathless in places. It is often steep, somewhat exposed and at times quite rocky. Therefore this hike is not suitable for beginners!
Difficulty: T4
Pace: moderate pace around 400m/h
Starting point and time: 9:30 Lauterbrunnen Bahnhofplatz bus station, this will allow participants to arrive by train as well as use the car park at the train station. Together we will continue with alpine bus B142 to Isenfluh and by cable car (CHF 10.-) to Sulwald. If you come by train book the ticket to Isenfluh, Dorf.
Train leaves from Zurich HB 7:02 and arrives in Lauterbrunnen 09:26
Ending point and time: bus from Isenfluh, Dorf at 17:13 to Lauterbrunnen and further according to personal route
Equipment: good shoes, water, lunch & snacks, sun protection (cap & sunscreen), clothing according to the weather - take layers, poles as you prefer, cash for the cable car and optional visit at Lobhorn hut, swim gear if you want to take a dip in the mountain lake on the way back.

Hi @Daniel and @Daniel, you are not yet in the WA group and we have reorganized the journey. There was an event on the railway line to Lauterbrunnen. Therefore we will meet either: 8:55 at train station Interlaken West and I’ll pick some participants up and drive directly to Isenfluh. If you come by car we will meet 9:30 at Isenfluh. Would be great to receive some feedback from you when and were we will meet you.
