The Sonnjoch (2,457 m) is a striking peak in the Karwendel mountains of Tyrol, Austria. Rising steeply above the Eng Valley and Achensee, it is known for its elegant pyramid shape and wide, panoramic summit views. The ascent is demanding but rewarding, offering a mix of alpine meadows, rugged rock, and thrilling ridgelines. Popular with experienced hikers, the Sonnjoch combines wild mountain beauty with the charm of traditional alpine huts along the way.

- food /snaks
- proper hiking schoes
- sun protection (whatever suites you)
- a clean T-shirt for the way back (mandatory) - since we will spend 2,5 hours in public transport together, so let us make it bearable and breathable :)
