It's not a via-ferrata per se, but a very interestig path secured with steel ropes. The landscape resembles Dolomite Mountains but, luckily for us, the place is only 2 hours drive from Munich.

This is not a beginner friendly hike!!! It involves some scrambling (UIAA I) and exposed parts. You have to be absolutely surefooted and have no fear of heights. Please read the route description before joining!

We leave early to avoid traffic. If we have enough time and stamina, we might go also to Hochtennspitze, which would add 1,5-2 hours to the hike. However, I need to be back to Munich at 19:00 at the latest.

I don't run in the mountains but I expect to keep a normal pace about 400hm/h. 

I might add 2 more seats if someone is willing to travel with very limited leg space.

What you need:

- a helmet (mandatory!) 

- Via-ferrata set - highly advisable. The route is not difficult but there might still be snow there. 

- ID (we are going to Austria)

- cash for carpool etc

- water (no hut on the way)!

- hiking poles would be helpful

- boots, jacket, gloves, and all those things that you like to have during a hike

- good mood :)
