Hoi hikers,
2 peaks with the same name, but in different cantons: These are the Vorabs on the border of Glarus and Graubünden. Let's hike up to them, then along the ridge on the cantonal border (queen stage of the Via Glaralpina) and finally back on the Via Suworow.

This is a rather fast paced (600hm/h) and long hike, not suitable for beginners.
How to get there:
Journey by public transport: ZH HB - Ziegelbrücke - Schwanden - Elm Station (bus) - ca. 15 min. warm-up walk - Tschinglenalp (cable car - 12 CHF with cash payment only!)
The train (IR35 to Chur) departs at 07:12 from ZH HB.
Journey by car: Use gps. Note: This is not a roundtrip, however almost it is. You can leave the car in Elm.
Journey back from Elm, Sportbahnen bus stop at 17:59 or 18:59.

09:20 AM - Elm Tschinglenalp cable car station
Hike:
The hike will last ca. 8-9 hours with a lot of viewpoints.
Short (ca. 20 Min.) picnic lunch break on one of the Vorabs.
First part (until the Panixerpass) is mostly white-blue path, second part (Via Sworow) is white-red.
The pace will be fast with enough time to admire the landscape. In case you're not able to keep up with the pace, we might split up.
Equipment:
Proper hiking boots, poles, picnic lunch, snacks, enough water (2+ l), sunscreen, proper clothes acc. to the weather, good mood and fitness.

Additional notes
The organizer is no professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the groups split for some reason, for example).
Out of respect for the others, please be on time. If you happen to be late, contact the organizer.
If you have a No Show in your profile (= you did not show up to a hike you signed up to in the past), I may exclude you from the event.
Unjoining allowed until 12 hours before the start of the event. If you are unable to be join for whatever reason, contact the organizer.
