Let’s go for a nice autumn hike before the snow!
You should be prepared for approx 500m of T3 on the approach to the spitze and possibly some scrambling. Overall 1265m elevation. The walk to/from GaPa station will add 3.6km to the overall distance, so will be a total of 19.3km. It will be a long day so don’t join if you have evening plans.
Note: I am not hiking for speed or in a rush. I expect around 4 hours for the ascent. If you want to go faster, join another group ;-)

Snacks and enough water for the way (atleast 2 liters. I will confirm that the huts are open in advance and let you know about lunch at the hütte).
Layers - forecast looks sunny but cold, maybe 3-4 degrees at the spitze, likely will feel colder in the wind.
