Hoi hikers,

Let's follow the sunshino in Ticino, while hiking along the ridge on the Swiss-Italian border.

The route is part of the Sentiero Lago di Lugano route.

21 km, 1400/1450 hm.


This is medium/fast paced (min. 555 hm/h) hike, not suitable for beginners.


How to get there:

Journey by public transport: ZH HB - Lugano - Tesserete, Stazione (bus) - Maglio di Colla, Paese (bus)


The train (EC to Milano) departs at 07:33 from ZH HB. 

Journey by car: Use gps. 

Journey back from Monte Bré, Paese bus stop: connections at xx:15, xx:45

10:20 AM - Maglio di Colla, Paese bus stop

 

Hike:

The hike will last ca. 6-7 hours with a lot of viewpoints and peaks.

Short (ca. 20 Min.) picnic lunch break at somewher on the ridge.

The pace will be moderate/fast with enough time to admire the landscape. In case you're not able to keep up with the pace, we might split up.



Equipment:

Proper hiking shoes, poles, picnic lunch, snacks, enough water (2+ l)sunscreen, proper clothes acc. to the weather (something windproof), good mood and fitness.

The organizer is no professional guide. Participants are responsible for themselves, must do their own research about the route, and must be able to navigate by themselves (in case the groups split for some reason, for example).

Out of respect for the others, please be on time. If you happen to be late, contact the organizer.

If you have a No Show in your profile (= you did not show up to a hike you signed up to in the past), I may exclude you from the event.
