Description
📅 Saturday 18 October | ☀️ Beautiful weather forecast | 👫 Open to all interested hikers
A beautiful autumn hike from Ettal to the Notkarspitze (1,889 m) in the Ammergau Alps. The trail led through colorful forests and open ridges with stunning views of Zugspitze, Krottenkopf, Laber, and Hörnle peaks. From the summit, we enjoyed a breathtaking 360° panorama over the Bavarian Alps and the shining Ettal Abbey below. The descent via Rotmoosalm offered peaceful meadows and golden autumn scenery. Around 19 km and 1500 m elevation, the hike took about 6–7 hours — a perfect mix of challenge and mountain beauty.
