Description

Spontaneous Tour: Roter Stein & Hönig.

I have time and feel like hiking tomorrow.



Destination: Lechtal Alps – Roter Stein & Hönig from Bichlbach-Berwang.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to create my own routes yet, so I’m using an existing one for Roter Stein. Please read the full tour description carefully before joining.
Difficulty:
• Hönig: T2
• Roter Stein: T3

Transportation:
Hin: 07.32 Hbf München, Zug nach Reutte,
Pl. 27
Zurück: trains every hour from Bichlbach-Bergwang (at 15.16, 16.16, 17.16, 18.16, etc.)

Ticket:
Deutschland-ticket. If you don’t have it, you have to inform yourself in prior to event & buy your own ticket.

Things to bring:
• proper hiking shoes
• hiking poles (optional)
• passport/ID
• DAV Membership (advisable)
• food, water for the day
• a phone with GPX downloaded
• good mood, positive vibes

Optional:
• sun protection
• sunglasses
• gloves, buff
• first aid kit

Roter Stein is definitely not T3 ;) Western side T4, eastern side T4+

We did roter stein and hönig two weeks ago. South side of roter stein is t4 with cables. North side with but was fine. Ascent and ridge to Hönig was muddy, partially icy. North descent from very slippery in the upper parts
