Description
Spontaneous Tour: Roter Stein & Hönig.
I have time and feel like hiking tomorrow.
Destination: Lechtal Alps – Roter Stein & Hönig from Bichlbach-Berwang.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to create my own routes yet, so I’m using an existing one for Roter Stein. Please read the full tour description carefully before joining.
Difficulty:
• Hönig: T2
• Roter Stein: T3
Transportation:
Hin: 07.32 Hbf München, Zug nach Reutte,
Pl. 27
Zurück: trains every hour from Bichlbach-Bergwang (at 15.16, 16.16, 17.16, 18.16, etc.)
Ticket:
Deutschland-ticket. If you don’t have it, you have to inform yourself in prior to event & buy your own ticket.
Things to bring:
• proper hiking shoes
• hiking poles (optional)
• passport/ID
• DAV Membership (advisable)
• food, water for the day
• a phone with GPX downloaded
• good mood, positive vibes
Optional:
• sun protection
• sunglasses
• gloves, buff
• first aid kit
Disclaimer: Bergsport can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide and don't even pretend to be. Everybody is responsible for themselves. Please make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. Additionally, you could download the map and bring a cell phone and a first aid kit.

Roter Stein is definitely not T3 ;) Western side T4, eastern side T4+

Thanks for Infos. I've checked OSM before writing, it shows T3 both sides. I understood, that before the peak there are ein paar drachtseilabgesicherten Passagen.

Thanks for the nice route suggestion. I've planned actually the route without Steinmeindlspitze and Hintere/Vordere Suwaldspitzen.

There's no official trail from Roter Stein to Steinmandlsdpitze & from Steinmandlspitze to Hintere Suwaldspitze, that's why it wild ans maybe T4. There's a trail direct from Roter Stein to Hönig via Älpele. And from Älpele the both, Vordere/Hintere Suwaldspitzen, is only T2 classified.
More I can write tomorrow, after the hike.

We did roter stein and hönig two weeks ago. South side of roter stein is t4 with cables. North side with but was fine. Ascent and ridge to Hönig was muddy, partially icy. North descent from very slippery in the upper parts
