A hike in Engadin is also planned for Saturday. Therefore I'm staying overnight in the youth hostel in St. Moritz.

I called the tourist office to ask if the hiking trails were open because it snowed one week ago. They said the hiking trails are open. However on various webcams I sometimes see a bit of snow. Personally I still bring spikes just in case.

When some one wants to make an shorter hike he/she can hike straight down to sankt Moritz and not again back to Pontresina
