Description

Ensure that you have DAV insurance before joining. It is very easy to get and I am not comfortable with people joining unless they are properly insured. Check the disclaimer below and bring spikes, we’ll be reaching 2000m+ altitude and we may expect to find snow. 


T2, 770m elevation / 15.9km

Expect 400m/hour pace, no faster 😉

Should be another beautiful sunny day ☺️  let’s go to Tirol and find out how sweet Hönig is 🍯🐝🤷‍♀️

08:42 RB60 departs 

10:29 arrive Ehrwald Zugspitze Bahn

10:34 bus 5 departs (bring cash)

10:58 arrive trail head and start hiking

13:30 reach gipfel / lunch

14:00 descent


17:16 train departs (or worst case 18:16 train) from Bichlbach Berwang 


19:42 (or 20:19) arrive Pasing


Bring:

  • DAV insurance
  • ID as well be in Austria
  • Spikes
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Deutschland ticket
  • hiking poles
  • mobile
  • power bank
  • Cash for the bus and incase we stop in Bichlbach on the way back.
  • Lunch, snacks and enough water for the way (atleast 2 liters).
  • Layers - forecast looks sunny but cold, 5-7 degrees at the spitze, may feel colder in the wind.

If you decide to leave the group (go in front by yourself, or stopping for no reason), then we won’t search for you and you officially left the group, it is also the same if you don't bring required gears
