Hi everyone! I’m planning to sleep there, from Saturday till Sunday. As it’s not normal hut, just roof over head and protection from rain and wind, you will need your own sleeping bag (warm!- will be probably freezing at night), sleeping mat and best even insulation mat. Equipment is the most important there, so if you don’t have or can’t borrow, don’t sign up.
WHATSAPP GROUP: (feel free to join even if you would be just interested in the future or going on this event) https://chat.whatsapp.com/Emrctg7OCf86JlL16OTpqf
Also: !! If you don’t have experience with this type of thing (wild camping/ sleeping in just simple shelters, and also in colder weather it’s also not for you. It’s not summer anymore :(()
I can borrow air mattress. On Saturday it will take I guess around 6 hours and up there will be snow, on Sunday we are going just down. MORE things you should have:
- spikes (best)
- gas for cooking, cooker (or I have)
- many layers of clothes
- headlight
- snacks and enough food
- emergency sleeping bag
- first aid kit
- powerbank
I haven’t been in this shelter and can’t say how big is it or whatever, but from photos looks promising.
I want to keep group together- anyways it will not be a big group. Everyone is going on their risk and is responsible for themselves. I am not a guide. I also strongly recommend download the maps so everyone knows. We can adjust the route a bit, but the main part remains the same.
Really looking forward to it! If you want, you can also directly contact me on WhatsApp: +420732470969 (I can’t see emails so either here in comments or on WhatsApp)
Be at train station a bit earlier so we catch the connection 🥰
