The Wendelstein–Schweinskopf traverse is a scenic alpine hike in the Bavarian Alps that links the iconic Wendelstein peak with the quieter summit of Schweinskopf. The route offers a mix of panoramic ridge walking, rugged limestone terrain, and sweeping views over the Mangfall Mountains and Inn Valley. It’s a rewarding hike for those seeking a moderately challenging outing with classic Bavarian alpine character and fewer crowds once you leave the main Wendelstein paths.
