Hiking Buddies Christmas Party – Let’s Celebrate! 🎄

Dear Hiking Buddies,


It’s that magical time of the year when we swap muddy boots for shiny shoes and pretend we don’t always smell like mountain air. So let’s celebrate together at our Hiking Buddies Christmas Party 2025—a night of food, laughter and great company!

To honor St. Nikolaus properly, we’ll sprinkle in some festive decorations—because let’s be honest, everything looks better with tiny lights.

🎁 Optional hiking-related gift exchange: Bring a small outdoor-themed present (fun, useful, or delightfully silly—nothing expensive).


📸 Memory Board: Bring your favorite photo from any of our hikes (10x15). Add your name, the mountain/trail, and the date. We’ll create a wall of nostalgia and hilarious stories to warm us through winter.

Please RSVP only if you’re sure you can come—our 70 spots tend to disappear faster than chocolate in a mountain hut.

We can’t wait to see you, laugh together, share stories, and create warm memories that carry us into next year’s adventures. ❄️💝

Dear buddies, Just a few hours and we will be altogether again! 😍 Some practical info for tomorrow evening. We meet at 19 at upper floor in Vapiano. We have the entire right side reserved for us. Christmas gift: as soon as you arrive go and pick up a number from the box with the Christmas elf, you fold the postit and put it in the box Hiking Buddies Christmas gift, you pick up the correspondent etikette with number on the right and you attach it to your gift. You will leave the gift under the Christmas tree close to the blinking sign Santa please stop here 😅. Later on before leaving, don't forget to pick up a number from the Hiking Buddies Christmas box, that will be your gift. 😊

Memories: Bring your photo representing one of your best memories with Hiking Buddies. Attach the photo 10X15 on the posters with the symbol on the left using the Foto Kleber on the right in photo. Then pick up an Etikette and write your name, name of the mountain or trail and year and attach below your photo on the poster. Looking forward to see you all! 🧑‍🎄🎄🎉🤗

Thanks everyone coming last night on our Christmas evening!! So many lovely people! Old buddies I hiked with in 2016!! Others later on, great organizers there, and so happy to see new faces and the community growing. Thanks a lot to Cristina and Ema for helping with the decorations and preparing a nice atmosphere for everyone! Nice to see a lot of photos from beautiful hikes! So many memories! That from last night is the spirit and I hope this community keeps it always. To many other beatiful days, hikes, social events and everything else that brings us, hiking buddies altogether! Wishing you all Merry Christmas! 🤗

Marco, thank you so much for organizing this event and bringing us all together. It was fun and a great opportunity to meet new people and see those again with whom we always have a good time in the mountains. Hope to see you all on a hike someday!
