This is going to be my first Christmas Market this season and as recommended by an amazing hiking buddy Irina, i copy her route :). 

Meeting Time: 06:45am Munich HBF platform 11.

Let us go for the easy tour to Salzburg’s Hausberg, Gaisberg. We will be having sunshine for 5hrs and the temperature will be up to 3 degrees and dropping till 2 degree in the evening with a wind of 10k/h.

We will ascent via Gersberg Alm and descent via Zistelalm. Please carry enough water and food for the hike, also the hut is open in case we have enough time to stop and eat something.

Waterproof hiking boots, spikes/crampons are mandatory. Insurance (DAV or similar), gaiters.

Kindly bring good mood and good food :P. 

As we will be crossing the border do not forget to bring your passport/id.

After the long and beautiful hike, we will have some food and gluhwein at the market.

Zug hin: 06.55 Hbf, BRB RE5 nach Salzburg, Pl. 11
Zurück: train every hour at .05 (17.05, 18.08, 19.05).
