Description
Hike to enjoy some sun in Ticino on Sunday. We will climb Monte San Salvatore and enjoy views on the lake of Lugano.
Departure: 7:33 from Zurich HB, EC 13 direction Milano Centrale.
Change to S10 in Lugano, departing 9:36.
There may be some small restaurants or cafes in the middle of the trip in Carona, but I recommend bringing enough food for the day.
Return: from Morcote, aiming to catch the bust at 15:22 or 16:22 to Lugano.
Terrain will be easy but keep in mind that the elevation difference is about 800m - you don't need to be super experienced, but this route is not suitable for complete beginners: you should be able to walk uphill in moderate pace without taking frequent breaks.
