Description

I’m back in Munich for a couple of days before New Year and would love to head to my beloved mountains to burn off some Xmas calories.

Simetsberg, a neighbor of Herzogstand, but not so crowded. I did it last winter, and I think the current conditions will be perfect—and the view from the top is unbeatable. Starting and ending in Einsiedl (Jachenau).

Transport:

Train there: 07:59, RB 66, Hbf Platform 28.

Return: Bus 328, every hour at :55 (13:55 / 14:55 / 15:55)
