Just like in the last few years, I'd like to start the year with a gentle hike plus a lovely dinner in a greek restaurant plus fireworks in Luzern.
Want to join :)
The hike will be from Meggen to Luzern thru the Meggerwald. See outdooractive for the complete, long, and official "documentation" :) Teaser:
From the center of Meggen, the path leads over fields and meadows up to the mystical Meggerwald. From there, you continue hiking to Adligenswil. High above the town, you pass the Kurhaus Sonnmatt on your way to the Gerlisberg Monastery. After one last effort, you reach the Dietschiberg, the little sister of the Rigi. The path descends to Utenberg, and from there you reach the colossal Dreilinden Park.Β
As we're in the middle of civilization, there'll be plenty of exit points.
Once we managed this hike, I'll go to the Greek Restaurant Ammos in Luzern. Been there last few years on 1 January and it's always been great.
DO LET ME KNOW WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE TO ENJOY THE RESTAURANT AS WELL! This will help me to reserve enough spots.
And once THAT'S been done, I'd suggest to watch Luzern blow up some lovely rockets at their New Years fireworks. It takes place at 1 January from 20:15. We'll be able to catch the 21:09 train to ZΓΌrich.
