Description

Technical difficulty: This via ferrata is technically rated as grade C/D, and only suitable for people who do via ferrata's regularly. Max 4 people can join.

Things to bring:

  • Full gear for via ferrata (Harness + Via Ferrata set + Gloves + Helmet + Rastschlinge);
  • Enough food and water(2-3 liters);
  • Rain jacket;
  • Good mood and energy.

Optional:

  • Trekking/hiking poles;
  • Headlamp;
  • Sunscreen;
  • Sunglasses/protection glasses(transparent);
  • First aid kit;
  • In case of rain, an other set of clothes(we will leave them in the car and use them when we get back).

From the parking space we can will hike up or to go with cable car. My option is to hike but we will see how the weather will be(the cable car costs 16,- Euros up and down or 11,- Euros one way)

Disclaimer: Via ferrata can be dangerous. I am not a mountain guide. Everybody is responsible for her/himself. Make yourself familiar with the route and its requirements. It's recommended to download a map and bring a cell phone and first aid kit for emergencies.

NO ALCOHOL is allowed before and during the hike. If you take pills that can influence your physical or mental state do not join. Make sure that you are well rested.

We will go there by car. The driver is Cosmin.

Meeting point is at 7.00 am on Sunday the 29th of September in front of the DM(Drogerie markt) in Giesing(U-Bahn: U2,U7,U8 and S-Bahn: S3,S7).

The price of the trip is 15€ per person if four people are going(gas, parking, vignette, ...)

The drive will be around two hours so we could start our hike around 9.30. 

After the hike we could stop for a coffee and eat something.
