Winter Hike: Walk to Andechs with views of Ammersee
Distance: 14 km
Elevation gain/loss: 200 m
Estimated duration: approx. 3:45 hours

Meeting Point: Munich main station, S8 station to Herrsching, 8:50

We'll start in Hechendorf and take a roughly two-hour walk to Andechs Monastery. We'll have lunch at Andechser Bräustüberl - traditional Bavarian food and beer.
On the way back, we'll hike through the forest trail back to Herrsching Bahnhof.

What to bring:

  • Hiking shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Money for lunch/drinks
