Meeting point

Let's meet in the train IC 3, leaving from platform 8 in (probably) the first carriage in direction of travel.

Or latest in Ilanz.

Equipment

  • Snowshoes
  • Poles
  • Warm clothes
  • Warm tea or similar
  • Something to eat — we'll have a break at the peak or at a nice spot to recharge our "batteries"

Morning

  1. 06:38 → 07:52, IC 3, Zürich HB Gleis 8 → Chur Gleis 9
  2. 07:55 → 08:29, RE 7 1721, Chur Gleis 12 → Ilanz Gleis 1
  3. 08:34 → 08:47, RUB 423, Ilanz, Bahnhof/Post Kante F → Rueun, S. Francestg

Note: I will make sure to call the "Rufbus" RUB 423 and reserve enough places.

Evening

  1. 16:02 → 16:24, Bus 421, Siat, vitg → Ilanz, Bahnhof/Post Kante E
  2. 16:30 → 17:05, RE 7 1752, Ilanz Gleis 3 → Chur Gleis 11
  3. 17:08 → 18:22, IC 3, Chur Gleis 9 → Zürich HB Gleis 11

Note: Busses leave every two hours until 19:58. There's a restaurant in Siat. Considering to have dinner there. Or in Chur, at Restaurant Franziskaner for "world class" Capuns :)

Restaurant in Siat: https://www.ustriasteila.ch/ - kitchen is closed between 13.30 and 17.00. So, no dinner there. Maybe in Chur instead.

Bus has been reserved for tomorrow morning. Gotta say, that I'm quite amazed that we're so many. But that's cool :)

good morning. the train from Zürich to chur is going to be full, according to SBB. I guess it's best if everyone tries to find a free place somewhere and we'll meet in Chur or ilanz.

oh, yeah, in Chur we've got to HURRY to get from pl. 9 to 12 in 3 minutes. should be doable, as SBB app advised to use this connection. but HURRY UP there!

morning all, apologies i missed the connection to be able to get to chur in time, dont wait for me in Ilanz, il go instead to (likely) Pizol region on next train, have a great day!
