Rotwandhouse serves delicious food.

Rotwand summit (1884m) is optional but strongly recommanded.

Requirements:
- adequate physical fitness for the tour 5h hike in the mountains
- propper equipment for an alpine hike in winter
- spikes a recommended
- food and drinks according your personal needs

Hi Mario, I am interested in joining and will drive my own car too - can you specify if the meeting point is at the Spitzingsee Taubensteinbahn or Schliersee (now show as the meeting point)? - and what time should we be there?

Hi Teng, I will park my car at Penny near Schliersee Bhf. From there we will take the bus to Spitzingsee Kirche and start our hike! I look fwd to meeting you!

You can also park"Try to park at the Taubensteinbahn parking lot (Parkplatz Taubensteinbahn). It is the one that puts you closest to the trail leading up to the Rotwand. If that one is full, the St. Bernhard Church parking lot (Kirche St. Bernhard) in Spitzingsee is your second best option." A quick tip for Saturday: Both are paid parking lots, so make sure you have some coins or a parking app (like EasyPark) ready on your phone, as the machines in that area can sometimes be picky with cards. your car at the church
